Please make sure your DirectX install is complete:

Are your graphics drivers really up to date? No really; not updated two months ago... have you updated them in the last week?

For network access please make sure your firewall, antivirus or security suite are not blocking:

• TCP port 20545
• internet connections for Planetary Annihilation and CoherentUI

If you don't know how to do this, you'll need to web search some tutorials since it's different on every single router.
